I fell in love with the name "Spiritually Nomadic"a few years ago when my then boyfriend (now fiance) and I were looking into owning a business together. We wanted to find a name that 1) wasn't already taken 2) rang true for us and 3) would set no limitations to what our business could become.
We questioned what the world needed more of as we were starting to incorporate more spiritual aspects into our life together.
We view corporations as part of a "broken system" where workers and employees are not treated right. Corporations are a huge part of the system that carry the "rich stay rich" mentality, allowing people who work hard at their occupation only to end up being the ones getting taxed the most and feeling that they've been screwed over (rightly so) . My fiance, having worked exclusively with corporations, was sick and tired of feeling like the amount he was putting in to the job wasn't equal to what he was getting back. He wanted to use his talents and become his own boss, on his own schedule and have a more meaningful and sincere experience than what he was previously getting.
I have been working as a LMT for about five years and love the work that I do. I fully support the business I work for and have so much respect for my boss. With her vision and belief, she was able to create her dream of owning a small business that can hold space for people regardless of their reasoning for coming in. We are so fortunate to form a connection with our clients and know them outside of just their intake form. It is through my work that I have been able to have so much more appreciation for small businesses, individuality, and the Earth as a whole.
My life has been centered around coming to the right information at the right time. Aligning myself up for a life that connected with the right energy I was seeking.
Certain experiences I had early on in my childhood really pushed me to change. The process of recovering was not easy but allowed me to start navigating my own journey and learn certain lessons earlier on in my life. By learning not to take everything personally and finding a voice of my own, it allowed me to re-access the type of present I want to exist in and create the future I envisioned for myself. It is through uncomfortable situations that I was determined to delve deep into what limitations I set before myself. It allowed me to have compassion towards others and to question what I thought to be true.
And I wanted to continue questioning things that I didn't know or didn't understand.
Life is our greatest teacher, with people alongside us to grown and learn from. Through technology's advancements, sharing and learning information is so accessible now. We are finding out more information every day and questioning what has been previously taught to us. With new platforms that have come up, continuously, people are using their voice to help share information and ideas globally. People are speaking up on certain issues that we're all facing, and at a level where social media can spread that conversation worldwide in minutes.
In order for us to grow and evolve collectively, truth needs to be shared. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes that isn't talked about or conversations that get swept under rugs. And I want this platform to encourage the questions or issues that need to be discussed.
My vision into creating this site is to voice what I myself have come to learn while still being open to the perceptions of others to find truth.
